Amateur video captures devastation inside the besieged Nahr el-Bared Palestinian refugee camp The US backed Lebanese government continues to flush out Islamic militants holed up inside a northern refugee camp. Palestinian civilians are paying the ultimate price. With more than 150 dead in the last two months, the Nahr el-Bared refugee camp has become a killing ground. The Siniora government has been pounding positions held by members of Fatah al-Islam, a group trying to impose Islamic rule on all Palestinian refugee camps inside Lebanon. As the attacks intensify, and the militants move deeper within the camp to fortify their positions, the Daily Star of Lebanon says 400 civilians are still inside, barely surviving. This week APTN received the first pictures smuggled out from inside the camp. This is a sample of a "raw" news feed, without commentary, giving the viewer time to watch and hear important stories.
